Standard Dies

PROMEC offers a wide variety of high quality swaging dies for use in PROMEC swagers. Many years of development have resulted in dies that are cost effective and offer a long service life while providing high quality finish and dimensional accuracy. Dies are offered “standard” for most available end fittings. If you require dies that are not shown on the standard PROMEC die list, please contact PROMEC for assistance with availability or development of dies to meet your special needs.

		To confirm after-swage dimensions, all assemblies using stake eyes should be proof-loaded appropriate to in-use load requirements when setting up dies in machine. Note: Because of differences in pre-swaged fittings, 10 samples of each size fitting are required to assure the dies match the fittings being used.

		PROMEC aluminum and copper oval and stop sleeve dies can be configured to impart a hexagonal cross section to the finished swage.  Dies can also be engraved on opposed flats to provide an imprint of the manufacturer's logo or other marking on the finished product.
